Bison Blasting was founded in 2023 by Mike Robison in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after more than 20 years working in corporate sales and marketing.

Mike's path to sandblasting began unexpectedly during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, when he found himself temporarily out of work. He began spending time with his cousin, who specialized in frame-off restorations of classic cars. Over the next several months, Mike helped bring a 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle back to life and worked on numerous other classic vehicles.

It was during these restoration projects that Mike was introduced to sandblasting. What started as a way to remove old undercoating and prepare vehicles for restoration quickly became a passion. Mike became fascinated by the process and began researching equipment, blasting techniques, and different media to find ways to achieve the cleanest, most thorough results possible.

That passion eventually grew into Bison Blasting.

Today, Bison Blasting provides professional mobile blasting services throughout the Tulsa area for commercial businesses, residential customers, automotive projects, and marine applications. Whether we're restoring a classic vehicle, removing years of paint and corrosion, preparing a surface for a new coating, or tackling a large commercial project, our goal is the same: do the job right and deliver results we can be proud of.
